The building block to the construction (1000 pieces marble cubes by 10x10x10mm) of this modular settlement is a small cube of white marble, the same size as a sugar cube (cut into infinitesimal standardised pieces). The veins, which show the organic record of the material are non life-lined anymore but are accidentally mixed up - a proposal for a bright new arrangement quickly constructed or pulled down without leaving any traces.

The building-kit proposes a package of unlimited possibilities with an unlimited amount of cubes as a pragmatic answer to civilisation in constant mutation - but moreover the sculpture questions the meaning of place in relation with the square units, which occupy it.
