This work showcases the neglect of the past in the Saarland region (my birthplace),  Germany, a former satellite state, and the abandoned former French embassy building. It explores the influence of past events on territory, visions, and identity through the lens of "psychological geography." By combining official and unofficial personal histories, the video challenges the concept of political amnesia and brings forth forgotten memories while offering an alternative perspective infused with personal recollections. The video serves as a visual rendering and emotional map, shedding light on the neglected aspects of history and the impact they have on the present, 2018-2020

This video conveys  the feeling we might experience for a particular situation where ‘the other’ is involved and from which we can draw confidence.
